Waterloo – Crosby – Formby – Freshfield
The walk begins outside Waterloo Sunset Cafe, close to Marine Lake. We’ll head straight for the seafront to join the Sefton coastal path, walking in the direction of Crosby Beach, permanent home to ‘Another Place’, the sculpture by internationally acclaimed artist, Antony Gormley.
Passing through Crosby we’ll walk along the coast, close to Blundellsands and Hall Road stations. We cut inland temporarily to circumnavigate Altcar rifle range before a final stretch of beach along Formby Point. We plan to end our walk at The Freshfield public house.
