This walk will explore some of Liverpool’s oldest medieval streets. We’ll learn about the important role played by Liverpool during the American Civil War and the city’s unofficial Confederate Embassy, about the cotton trade and its legacy and the importance of the canals.
Our mission is to get Liverpool’s business community walking much more. To encourage behavioural change that will undoubtedly improve the health and wellbeing of the working population and positively affect business productivity. You are also going to meet some amazing people, make valuable business contacts and return to the office buzzing with energy and ideas.
Liverpool Entente Cordiale Tours is led by Julie Kershaw, an official Liverpool Blue Badge Tour Guide. There’ll be several nuggets of historical insight sprinkled across our walks around Liverpool city centre but Freshwalks City is also about light exercise on carefully selected routes that will stimulate interaction and conversation among our guests.
