Higher Poynton – Middlewood Way – Middlewood station – High Lane – Macclesfield Canal – Higher Poynton
This fairly flat circular route is a perfect entry-level opportunity for Freshwalkers of all fitness levels mixing scenic canalside and straightforward trail walking.
We intend to meet outside The Boar’s Head from 10:45 onwards and start the walk no later than 11:00. We’ll return to our starting point sometime close to 13:15 and look to grab some refreshments and food inside The Boar’s Head.
