A stunning rural ramble exploring the suburban fringes of Blackburn and paying homage to the greatest fellwalker of all. Starting at Pleasington station, we drop down to the River Darwen at Hoghton Bottoms to admire the cascades before climbing up into the Yellow Hills.

We’ll then head to the excellent Clog & Billycock public house to enjoy some pre-ordered lunch before returning to Pleasington via Witton Country Park.
