Old Glossop – Lightside – Dog Rock – Wain Stones – Bleaklow Head – Higher Shelf Stones – Doctor’s Gate – Old Glossop
Welcome to Freshwalks and for a tenth anniversary special, we’re heading back to our roots by retracing the original steps of August 2014. We’ll start the day outside Glossop station and after cutting through Old Glossop, will make our way up the steep slopes of Lightside towards Bleaklow via Dog Rock. Thereafter, we’ll take in the B29 Superfortress plane crash site at Higher Shelf Stones before returning to Old Glossop via Doctors’ Gate as we did ten years ago.
