Old Glossop – Cock Hill – Clough Edge – Bleaklow Head – Higher Shelf Stones – Doctor’s Gate – Old Glossop
We’re heading back to our roots with a classic walk from Old Glossop up to Bleaklow. We’ll climb steeply towards Cock Hill before reaching Clough Edge and sweeping out towards Bleaklow and Higher Shelf Stones.
We intend to leave our meeting point in Old Glossop approximately 09:30 and expect to return to the village sometime around 15:30.
Don’t forget, you will need to bring a good supply of water and your own packed lunch. It’s a long day. More information will be supplied in the week before the walk.
