New Mills – Peak Forest Canal – Strines – Roman Lakes – Marple
For the first in our Christmas Classic Trilogy, we’re heading to New Mills for the first time and embarking on a linear 9km walk (mostly flat) along the canal and river into Marple Bridge where our group will enjoy a festive tipple in front of a roaring fire.
This is a perfect entry-level walk for Freshwalkers of all abilities.
