Marple – Peak Forest Canal – Roman Lakes – Marple
This walk is a perfect entry-level walk for Freshwalkers of all abilities and especially those with limited time to join us. Our route sees us heading south out of Marple along the Peak Forest Canal where we’ll enjoy the increasingly semi-rural waterside surroundings at a very gentle pace before crossing the River Goyt to head back along the river via the Roman Lakes into Marple Bridge.
