Trentabank Reservoir – Macclesfield Forest – Lamaload Reservoir – Shining Tor – Three Shires Head – Shutlingsloe – Trentabank Reservoir
This route will take in Cheshire’s finest hills as well as some gorgeous forest and reservoir walking. A perfect winter hike which should hopefully end with a sunset view from the Cheshire Matterhorn, Shutlingsloe, for Freshwalkers who like to tackle our harder routes.
Don’t forget, you will need to bring a good supply of water and a packed lunch.
