Edale – Grindslow Knoll – Grindsbrook Clough – Ringing Roger – Edale
We invite you to join us for some uphill, early morning walking before hopefully witnessing a glorious morning sunrise from Kinder Scout.
We intend to start the walk from Edale train station at 06:30. As we start this walk in the dark, you will need to bring a torch (ideally a headtorch), wear warm layered clothing including waterproofs and either walking boots or shoes.
You’ll also need to bring your own drinking water, perhaps some breakfast and a flask of something hot for when we stop to enjoy the sunrise view around 07:50. We should arrive back in Edale a couple of hours later (approx 10:00) where you can stay on for some cooked breakfast and a hot drink.
