Hayfield – William Clough – Kinder Downfall – Kinder Low – Edale Rocks – Hayfield
The plan is to head past Kinder Reservoir before beginning our ascent of Kinder Scout via William Clough. We’ll then skirt the edges of Kinder Scout, passing Sandy Heys, before taking lunch at Kinder Downfall. We’ll continue our walk onto the highest point of the day at Kinder Low before beginning our descent back to Hayfield via Edale Rocks where we’ll likely stop for a mid-afternoon refreshment break.
