Grindleford – Padley Gorge – Burbage Rocks – Stanage Edge – Hathersage Lido
A scenic eastern Peak District railway hike from Grindleford to Hathersage Lido via Padley Gorge and Burbage Rocks
This brand new route begins in Grindleford where we soon start climbing the picturesque Padley Gorge. Our walk continues past Burbage Rocks and briefly onto the iconic Stanage Edge before our return descent into Hathersage just before 3pm.
Freshwalkers are then invited to enjoy a quick refreshing dip in the heated outdoor pool at Hathersage Lido, before heading to the fabulous Scotman’s Pack Country Inn which has a fine beer garden next to a trout stream and serves excellent pub food and beverages.
