Glossop – Lightside – Dog Rock – Higher Shelf Stones – James’s Thorn – Old Glossop
We are taking an early evening route which is a shorter twist on an old favourite. The plan is to head up Lightside towards the brooding plateau of Bleaklow. We’ll then head south towards Higher Shelf Stones for an evening picnic before descending back into Old Glossop via James’ Thorn just ahead of sunset.
