From Clitheroe Station, we’ll amble through Brungerley Sculpture Park to join the River Ribble and meander upstream past the pretty villages of West Bradford and Grindleton to the riverside hamlet of Sawley, with its ruined Cistercian Abbey. From here we’ll continue upstream for the flat final leg of the walk to the pretty village of Bolton By Bowland, where the Coach and Horses overlooks the village green.
