Disley – Gritstone Trail – Lyme Park – Middlewood Way – Ladybrook Valley – Disley
The plan is to head to Disley, Cheshire which sits on the fringes of the Peak District and provides easy access to Lyme Park. We intend to stop for coffee to takeaway and toilets in the park itself about 90 minutes into the walk.
An hour later, we’ll have left the park and subject to timings will enjoy some brief refreshments at the Boar’s Head public house, Higher Poynton, on the Middlewood Way.
Thereafter it’s a relatively gentle ramble back to the start where we’ll relax in the large beer garden at the Ram’s Head with an option to order some pub food and drinks.
