Join us for a rewarding walk on the West Pennine Moors offering arguably the best views in Lancashire from the lofty summit of Great Hill.
Our route skirts the pretty wooded fringes of Anglezarke Reservoir before climbing steadily up onto the moors to reach the top of Great Hill, where the views extend over much of the northwest of England to Snowdonia, The Isle of Man and the Lakeland Fells.
We then cross the moors on an airy trek over a flagstone path before descending back to the reservoir with an option to continue your conversations in the welcoming bar of the canalside Top Lock Inn.
