Dovedale – Thorpe Cloud – Milldale – Alstonefield – Wetton – Thor’s Cave – Manifold Trail – Ilam – Dovedale
This brand new route explores some of the finest locations and stunning scenery at the southern end of the Peak District. Our walk starts at Dovedale car park, heading immediately along the impressive limestone ravine including the iconic stepping stones.
Thereafter, guests will enjoy a spectacular White Peak experience, visiting picturesque villages such as Ilam and Wetton. It’s going to be a long day out but this route does offer the opportunity for refreshment and toilet breaks on the move.
Post walk, we’ll look to head to the Dovedale Bar & Lounge at the Izaak Walton hotel (where rooms are also available to book and stop over).
